The China Pavilion theatre at WWCC opens the holiday season with a silly British farce It Runs in the Family this Friday night Nov 27th at 7 pm. This manic romp through an English hospital's Doctors room delivers slapstick, innuendo and situation comedy with a hilarity that live theatre just makes better.
Director Kevin Loomer's all student cast romps, frolics and delights in the preposterous situations that the play provides showcasing their talents in surprising ways. The laughter they generate feels good and they genuinely enjoy providing those laughs to the audience.
Put aside the remote control and subdue the shopping urge and take a couple of hours and enjoy the fun of local live theatre. WWCC students get in free with their student ID, adults are $8 and children just $5. Performances start at 7 PM on Nov 27, Nov 28, Dec 3, Dec 4 and Dec 5 with 2:00 matinees on Nov 29 and Dec 6.
The show is a mild PG-13 for adult situations.
